The use of this bait in combination with our Ant Bait Stations is highly recommended. This ensures maximum benefit from this bait product.
A box comes with 6 tubes (syringe & plunger); each single tube is $19.60
Active Ingredient :
Boron 1.35% (present as Disodium Tetraborate Decahydrate)
Classification : Domestic
Quantity : 42.5 g syringe
P.C.P. # : 30173
GREEN WAY ANT BAIT GEL incorporates boron (in the form of Disodium Tetraborate Decahydrate) in a special food bait (honeydew formula) which is highly attractive to ants, including carpenter ants. Ants and carpenter ants pick up the bait and take it to their nests to feed the colony. The boron works slowly and sufficient bait should be made available for at least 14 days of continuous feeding. The ants and carpenter ants will return to their nests after consuming the bait and will feed their young and the queen, destroying the colony. Repeat placement of the bait until satisfactory control has been achieved.
Do not use sprays, foggers or any chemicals or cleaners near the bait containers or placements. This may contaminate the bait and cause the insects to cease feeding.
For control of ants, including carpenter ants and pharaoh ants, use indoors or outdoors near homes, apartments, condominiums, schools, hospitals, restaurants, grocery stores, food processing plants, boats, cruise ships, institutional and commercial buildings, nursing homes, hotels and warehouses.
GREEN WAY ANT BAIT GEL is applied with the syringe. Remove a syringe from the package and inject gel into cracks and crevices around windows and doors, inside and out, along baseboards, in dead spaces or any other tight space where the bait is protected from exposure and inaccessible to children and pets.
The GREEN WAY ANT BAIT GEL syringe may be used to inject the gel into devices that provide entry to ants, but protect the bait from exposure to humans, domestic animals and the elements. The bait can be dispensed in bait stations, or can be used to refill ant bait stations sold with the bait or in ant bait stations designed for the addition of bait (i.e. Ant Café, or other similar bait stations)
INDOORS: Place bait stations 1.5-3.0 metres apart where ants, including carpenter ants are numerous. Replace bait stations as needed. Place stations under food cabinets, sinks, stoves, refrigerators, food storage areas, attics, garages, basements, storage areas and closets. Place on exterior windowsills and in doorways to help prevent entry of ants. Some bait stations may be designed to be affixed to a wall or placed on a flat surface. When using bait stations, wash hands thoroughly before handling to remove any odours that may be repellent to ants, i.e. tobacco, garlic, chemicals/cleaners.
OUTDOORS: (Optional): Place bait stations near where ants enter dwellings. For best results place stations in shaded areas or create shade for the bait station. [Avoid placing bait station where it will receive direct sunlight whenever possible.]
